You missed me, right? Maybe just a little?
About a million years ago (okay, maybe four), I unveiled the original Momover, my deeply festive “online column” that still lives, in archive form, on Cookiemag.com. I called it a column instead of a blog for a few reasons. One, new installments only appeared monthly, which is soooo not bloggy. And two, it was “reported” rather than a mere riff on my mama-freakout of the moment. In other words, I interviewed super-important people and solved really, really serious postpartum beauty problems like how to camouflage spider veins and puff up thinning hair to Texas-sized proportions.
But then a très sad thing happened, which ended up having a lovely silver lining. The sad thing part: Due to the crummy economy, the gorgeous and groundbreaking Cookie magazine folded, so poof went my online column. The lovely silver lining part: I got to resuscitate that column, along with a lot of other mama-centric content here on Momover.net. But I’m calling it a blog now, FYI. I’m saving all the serious reporting stuff for the articles section of the site. Which means you have a lot of reading to do, mama. Chop chop.
