Discovery du jour: completely perfect carry-on luggage

Artsy yes, but I definitely wouldn't want my bags piled here...
We’ll see whether it proves to be a smart idea, but Hubby and I have made an executive decision to spend the holidays close to home this year. So that means we won’t be hopping on any planes in the immediate future.
Why then, was I irresistibly drawn to these great Sonia Kashuk nylon duffel and cosmetics bags stocked at my local Target? And why, pray tell, could I literally not stop myself from buying them?
A few reasons, my mama friend:
1. I love the chocolate brown. Sonia always does some version of these bags, but sometimes they’re in bright colors and crazy prints, and for travel gear, I prefer a less eye-popping vibe.
2. While I wouldn’t check them because they’re nylon and uber-lightweight, they’re a slam dunk for road trips and carry-on.
3. Unlike the Wee Lass, I really like to be matchy-matchy. At least when it comes to luggage. Traveling with tots is often seriously rough sledding, so I try to give at least the illusion of being cool, calm, collected and coordinated.
4. They’re affordable. I scooped up what was available at the store – the Travel Duffel for $39.99 and the smaller Duffel Bag for $19.99, and now I’m going online to nab either the Weekend Cosmetic Bag for $24.99 or the Triple Train Cosmetic Case for $19.99. (Ahem, I’m a little high-maintenance on the beauty-product front…)
Oh, who am I kidding? You know I’ll end up buying both, along with everything else in the collection. Matchy-Matchy Mama on the move!
